Norah began her career as a hair stylist 30 years ago at the Robert Lewis Studio of Hair Concepts cosmetology school in Silver Spring, MD. Norah is also a professional make-up artist, which is a perfect complement to her hair styling expertise.
She has received multiple certifications from some of the hair industry’s leading resources for higher education, such as the Redken Exchange 5th Avenue (New
York,NY), Bumble and Bumble (New York, NY), Goldwell Color (Wichita, KS; Washington, DC), Hair Dreams, amongst others. Her certifications allowed her to advance her techniques and specializations in hair design and hair color, including color correction, and strand to strand extensions.

Over the years she has worked in several high-end salons in Miami, FL and the Washington Metropolitan area, where she developed her singular style and ability to work with multiple hair types of many ethnicities. Her work has been published in hair styling magazines.

In addition, she has utilized creative marketing techniques that have allowed her to expand her client base. Over the years, she has continued developing her network of contacts within the hotel and wedding industry, amongst others. As a result she has been called on to style hair for many events that include five Presidential Inaugurations, other special events at the White House, concerts and events at the Kennedy Center, as well as for special holidays.
Several of the hotels that continue to provide referrals to Norah are elite hotels such as the Hay Adams, The Willard, St. Regis, The Four Seasons, The Mayflower, Capitol Hilton, The Grand Hyatt, Capital Hyatt, The Watergate Hotel, The AKA White House.
Many TV personalities on NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, Public Broadcasting Stations, and CNBC, have benefited from Norah’s expertise, as well as several movie stars. She has also prepped models for photo shoots and other events. Her many cliental referrals have resulted in her providing services to heads of states, ambassadors, and politicians.

Community Service
To give back to the community Norah has enjoyed working with multiple organizations by donating her time and services. She has groomed underprivileged women who have turned their lives around and are preparing for job interviews and taking their next steps in life. Norah also works in conjunction with Children’s Hospital and several facilities that perform plastic surgery.
